Run your business
Activity, history and analytics
See who changed what, how your prices moved, and where customers drop off.
Activity
Activity is a feed of everything that happens in your account:
- Quotes submitted, status changes, and line-item edits on submitted quotes.
- Changes to sections, questions, parts, rules and settings.
- Staff and customer sign-ins, and failed sign-ins.
- Webhook deliveries and failures.
Search by event, person or what was changed. The Dashboard shows the most recent entries under Recent activity.
History
Activity tells you that something changed. History shows what it looked like before and after. Use the switch at the top to choose between:
- Configuration: every time a rule, question or answer option was created, edited or deleted, with a saved copy of each version. Filter by type, or search by name.
- Part prices: every price change across your catalog, with the old price, the new price and the difference.
The same history appears on each item’s own editor. A rule’s history is shown below the rule builder, a question’s below the question editor, and a part’s Price history below the part form.
Undoing a mistake. For a single rule or question, open its earlier version here, see what it said, and re-enter it in the editor. To undo a whole publish, use Published versions below.
Published versions
The Published versions tab lists every version of your configurator that’s been published: when, by whom, and the note they left. The one customers see now is marked Live.
Make live again puts an older version back in front of customers straight away. It doesn’t touch your draft, so whatever you were working on shows up as unpublished changes, ready to fix and publish again.
Analytics
Analytics shows where customers give up. Choose a From and To date and click Refresh.
- Sessions started: how many people opened your configurator.
- Overall conversion: the share of those who submitted a quote.
- A bar for each stage, in order: Quote info, each of your sections, Review, and Submitted. Each bar shows how many sessions reached that stage, and the percentage that made it from the stage before.
How to read it:
- A big drop at Quote info: people are put off before they start. Try asking for fewer details up front (see Quote info step), or make the welcome copy clearer about what they’ll get.
- A big drop at one section: that section is too long, confusing, or asks for something customers don’t know, like a measurement. Split it, add help text, or offer preset sizes instead of free number entry.
- A big drop at Review: the price surprised them, or the terms put them off. Check the total for common configurations.
Sessions are counted anonymously. Analytics doesn’t record who the visitor was.
